Vamos pra Asia???

Pow, BORA!!!!

And that's how everything started! =) What? You don't know what I'm talking about? Ok, let me try to update your database.

Last year I lived for 6 months with Mitsue, a good Estado-unidense friend that I met when I came to Tokyo. At that time we shared not just the room, but also the kitchen, bathroom and studies =) At the end of the six months we were so closed that I didn't want to let her go back to New York alone for the spring vacations. So, I went with her to New York. heheheh =)

After that we knew that 1 - we rock!, 2 - we like to travel!, so why not travel as much as we can? That is, trying to enjoy the most we can of our holiday here in Japan, saving enough money to travel and traveling within our budgets.

Ok, now I have the partner and also the holiday. What's next? The destination and the MONEY.

The destination

Why Asia? Because we are already here =) We decided to go to Southeast Asia because it's really cheap to travel there from Japan and also because it's cheap to travel inside Southeast Asia!
To tell the truth, I didn't have THE expectation about southeast asia. And it's really simple to explain the reason. I'm from Brazil, which people say that is a not-developed (or poor) country. So, why would I want to go to another poor country? BUT, there are different poor countries! hehehe and I do recommend going to Southeast Asia or any other poor country, that is, after knowing how a rich country is it would be much better!!

So, where exactly in Southeast Asia? The cheapest ticket from Tokyo is to Singapore. And, fortunately we have a Singaporean friend that was going back home for summer vacation. Entao, a gente juntou o util ao agradavel and decided to start for Singapore. The same friend also told us that from Singapore is really cheap to go Malaysia (you can just take the local bus to go there!!) and also if you are in Singapore, you HAVE to go to Thailand. So, if we are going to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, why not stop one or two days in Cambodia and Vietnam? And, if you look to the map, it's a nice round! (the orange one is Malaysia).


When to go

Jasline, our Singaporean friend was going back home on July 19th, but me and Mitsue had class until 27th and also Mitsue's cousins were coming to Tokyo on Aug 5th and would stay here until 13th. So we decided to go from 13th to 28th. Unfortunately, Jasline had to come back on the 14th, so we didn't meet her there. And after searching around wikitravel.com we decided that 2 or 3 days in each city would be enough! And actually it wasちょうどいい。

The money

ok, nao vou dizer mais q o necessario. Nao estou nadando em rios de dinheiro aki nao. O segredo do cesto de ovos de ouro? Eu simplesmente traco um orcamento e sigo ele a risca =) Pago as contas obrigatorias, aluguel, celular, internet, trem.
Depois subtraio 30mil do resto e guardo oq sobrar. Pq 30 mil? pq o mes tem 30 dias. Isso, eu faco um orcamento de gastar mil ienes por dia. Oq isso inclui? tudo que eu quiser fazer durante o mes! De comida a festas e compras. Geralmente da!

Alem disso, tenho minhas aulinhas de portugues e outros bicos!

Anyway people, foi mto legal mesmo a viagem!
Se vc eh daqueles q gosta de ver jornal nacional pq soh passa noticias ruins, e afinal de contas, quem gosta de ver q o outro ta mto melhor q vc?, bem, leia o blog! Ainda mais se eu conseguir colocar as estorias e historias que quero. se vc soh quer saber da minha vida mesmo, ate aqui eh tudo q te interessa!
